If you dont know your ass from a hole in the ground...never engage in trench warfare, its could prove painful!!
VICTORY requires no explaination.....
DEFEAT allows none

Is there much difference with LRB 5+, now that FF isn't so important?

I can see myself using the same starting rosters for leagues as I do for tourneys. Most teams should front load with as many re-rolls and positionals as can be purchased and get an apoth as first purchase after match 1 or 2

depends what team you play....
Norse with no Snow troll = Tourney team.
Norse + Snow troll = League team
(infact any team with a big guy is usually a league build, the exception of course is undead (no Loner on Mummies))
Another example...
Dark Elves, (with the exception of Blitzers) all positionals are Av 7 (Witch elves / runners / assasins) So Tourney teams dont usually include many Positionals at 1 Mil build (to easy to fetch up short of players)

So the short answer is.....Yes, there can be a vast difference in how you build a tourney team, also more R/Rs are probably bought for Tourneys as players dont develope (Much if at all) so you get less Catch/Dodge/Block Skill re-rolls

See this is what I like about the game is that we can have such different opinions, and there's no real right answer :)

Guess it's down to playing style really as I'd not consider starting with a big guy in most league teams due to their expense, although I'd really consider taking one if available in a tourney team :)

I'd always load up on as many re-rolls as possible in a league because I dislike paying double when buying them after the league has started, whereas the big guy for example is the same price if you buy him later.

Dark Elves I would start in league with either 4 blitzers or 3 blitzers and a witch. I would consider taking the exact same starting roster to a tourney too.
