This week we have one of our occasional Thursday evening sessions. Previously these sessions have focussed on painting - minis or scenery.

This evening the committee don't see why some people shouldn't play games if they prefer. The usual financial imperatives apply: if you play with/use SWATs facilties then a donation of a quid would be fair, however if you have already paid on Tuesday then that's fine.

Myself, I will be putting a base coat on the new lovely big gaming boards, which were paid for by the donations of SWAT members as it happens.

I'll be planning to attend this one - will check with the wife, but I need to complete a model urgently and have become a bit stuck with it... someone else's judgement would be handy!

Will bring my paints and stuff and hopefully see you there. If anyone else wants to do some mini painting, I'm happy to share my equipment

Cheers,
Steven

I'll certainly be happy to prooffer my humble opinion. I was aiming to make some progress on the boards, not least as I don't have my painting (magnifying) visor with me so I won't do minis - but I'm sure I will be wandering around anyway.

Well, this went all right. Five of us turned up, all to paint minis or scenery.

The convo ranged over a wide range of topics, and we all made a lot of progress on our individual tasks in a convivial atmosphere.

Have to do another one in a month or so!
