Hi there,
After Mongoose noticed my local address taking a preorder, and suggested I come to SWAT one evening, I... erm... did. If you were there last night you probably saw me. Hello

I'm a lapsed gamer, drawn back into the fold by Mongoose's latest edition of Paranoia. I used to play Warhammer Fantasy (Empire and Undead, back when Undead was just one army) but also liked a spot of RPGing and board gaming. Bit of everything really.
I'm out of town for work next week, but the Tuesday after that (the 17th) I should be in from around 7.15ish. I was thinking of running a game of Paranoia. Latest edition, one of the Mongoose era adventures. Probably wrap it up in one evening, so good if any of you fancy a week off from your regular games...
Paranoia is an RPG that turns the basic tenet of RPGing - players cooperate - on its head. Imagine a comedy take-off of Brazil, 1984 and Brave New World, run by a well-meaning but deranged Computer. It is fair to say that collecting treasure is not a central tenet of this game (you'll die before you get to spend it!)
It'll be my first game in a few years so I may be a bit rusty - so I shouldn't make it too lethal

Anyone fancy it? I'll add it to the relevant Gaming Night thread nearer the time - if a few of you express an interest...
Dan
