Good Morning.

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Tom Humber, and I have been a Gamer in Swindon for most of the last six or seven years. I cut my teeth on Second Edition D and D, winced through 3rd, shuddered at 4th. I was there for the Old World of Darkness, and am here now for the New one. I like quite dark and insightful books, liturature and such: Lovecraft, Chambers and Poe...along with the old classics. As such, games like Kult and GURPS interest me.

I have recently moved back to Swindon after an...ill advised sojourn to Berkshire. I have returned, and am refinding the things I left behind. I have my good friends, naturally, and they tell me this SWAT club is a good and decent place.

We'll see. It will be great to see all of you.

Welcome aboard Tom, I hope we will provide a diverting and fulfilling experience for you. Do feel free to post in the Gaming Nights thread as to your availability and preference for forthcoming games.

Hello All,

I havent played Games workshop stuff for about 12 years now but used to play Necromunda (alot!), Blood Bowl, Warhammer 40k and a little bit of Warhammer fantasy.

I have recently been getting back into the games workshop books, and have been aquiring a hankering for a good old game of blood bowl or Necromunda. Ive been reading up on alot of the rule books from the specialist games website (40k and fantasy excluded)

I was thinking of popping along Tuesday for a nosey around and to meet people. I do not have any models available at the moment (hoping to rescue the boxes from parents house in essex)

Well hope to see you all Tuesday

Paul

Hi Paul

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday. People start arriving about 6:00pm but not many games begin much before 7:00. There is as I am sure you have found already a lot of Bloodbowl in the club at the moment, but we will also have several tabletop games in the next month or so - 40K, Warhammer Fantasy and Flames of War. Not much Necromunda has happened to date, but I think several people would be interested if someone thought about starting a mini-campaign...

I hope you like what you find.

Aun.
